Description
Disenchanted with the politics of working in an upscale Washington, D. C. restaurant, twenty-seven-year-old chef Lydia Lord resigns from her job and resolves to make it on her own. She returns home to Baltimore with plans to launch a gourmet restaurant, But when Lydia volunteers to be a chef at a summer camp for less-advantaged kids, her life takes an unexpected turn--into the arms of former football star Kennedy Fletcher.
