Katie Hart's friends want her to run for class president against Lynne Colby, one of the most popular girls at school. If Katie doesn't run, Lynne and her snobby friends will take over the seventh grade. Katie knows she'd make a better president than Lynne, but a nasty rumor may keep her from winning.
