Shifting Loyalties: an Immortals Short

Laura is a panther-shifter on the run, betrayed by the adults who should've cared for her. The tunnels deep inside the Promenade are her haven as she hides from the Controller and the enforcers who want to take her to the Renegade Youth Shelter. One day, she rescues Black, a big dog who soon becomes her most loyal friend, and her life becomes less lonely. But what's Black's story? And most importantly, who is Black?
