Murder in a Tourist Town is a prequel for the Tourist Trap series. When Jill Gardner burns out from her career in family law, she takes a two-week break. Her day goes from being cooped up in a small box of an office to walking to the beach to sit and think. When she stops for coffee and a book to read, she finds one of her old client's dead from being hit with a coffee maker. She's convinced her client's husband did the deed, but he's got an alibi. Can Jill find a killer and a new life before her vacation ends and she has to go back to clear off the files on her desk again.
