The Healer

This is an introduction to The Women of the Woods, a society of women healers, and prequel to The Protector ~ An apprentice healer risks her life to save a fledgling knight ~ His brother’s murdered, his father poisoned, young Roland is left for dead in a field beneath the healer’s caves. Young Veri finds the wounded fledgling knight. In saving his life she must abandoned her life as a healer and face the elusive danger haunting the Montgomery family.
