The book is based in a small town setting. Delilah Jones tries to prove to everyone especially herself; that she is a sophisticated career woman, who basically doesn't want to be like any of her rowdy brothers.For almost 20 years her and her enemy Sam Fletcher made a silent vow, by pretending the other wasn't there.
