A Containable Incident

A US Embassy employee in Turkmenistan is murdered. She dies minutes after being passed a message by a local woman. A message that Iran is about to obtain a nuclear bomb. A bomb that will be dropped on the US. The CIA sends two operatives to the tyrannical country to retrieve more information promised in the message, but the agents die in mysterious accidents at the hands of a brutally skilled assassin. Feeling the need to bypass standard operating procedures, the CIA sends in one of the most elite teams they have, posing as businessmen in the oil industry. However, this assignment gives them no diplomatic protection whatsoever, leaving them no room for error. And yet in less than a day in-country, the four agents find themselves in the cross-hairs of the assassin, and worse, they have become the focus of an enormous manhunt headed by that country’s equivalent of the KGB — an agency that is ruthless, efficient and lethal.
