Before escaping to Argentina, the legendary Butch Cassidy fell in love with Texana Harlow and left her pregnant. A wish in an Argentinian fountain bestowed charms on all of his female descendants. Harlow Cassidy always thought her charm was sewing the hopes and dreams of a person into a custom garment, but after a student in her fabric painting class drops dead, she wonders if her charm is actually the gift of crime-solving, or if it could be a much darker charm–causing the death of people around her. As Harlow grapples with this paradox, the victim’s sister turns to her for help.
