Murder alla Milanese

Trudi Wells should be celebrating: she just scored a cool little restaurant-consulting gig that will pay enough to solve some of her recent financial difficulties. Even better: the consulting work is in beautiful Milan, Italy. But Trudi soon learns that Milan cooks up a lot more than just beautiful fashion and fantastic food. The consulting job turns out to place Trudi among a slew of highly questionable characters. Her short-term apartment rental is apparently being used by someone else. She's getting serenaded by strangers and followed by mysterious men with guns. And then there’s the tiny matter of the dead body in the restaurant kitchen. If Trudi wants to get out of Milan in one piece, she’s going to need a plan. If that plan works, she’ll solve the case and even end up with a handsome cash reward. But if the plan doesn’t work, she’s dead.
