Mackenzie’s latest client is Darren Robbins, the man who abducted Veronica Summers. He demands Mackenzie find his ex-wife, a woman missing for five years. If he can’t do it by Thursday? Ronnie dies. Things aren’t as simple as they seem, however. Darren recently faked his own death and betrayed the District Kings, a ruthless crime syndicate. There’s unrest in the underworld, and Darren’s at the heart of it. To save Ronnie and thwart the plans of her abductor, Mackenzie enlists the help of Manny and begins searching. Not just for Darren’s ex-wife, but also for answers in the man’s mysterious past.
