The Dog Who Bit a Policeman

Killers are running through the streets of Moscow, some on two legs, some on four. To lower the body count, Porfiry Rostnikov, Moscow Police's one-legged inspector, will have to move fast: Stalwarts of the Russian Mafia are being found dead throughout the city. Meanwhile, the craze for illegally staged dogfights grows by leaps and snarls. With the help of fellow officers Sasha Tkach, Elena Timofeyeva, and Detective Emil Karpo, Rostnikov leads a tedious investigation into the layers of high crime and corrupt politicians in Moscow.
