The Case of the Calendar Girl

A shapely young woman, the victim of a car wreck, convinces builder George Ansley to drive her straight home despite her injuries. Ansley does, but he also consults Perry Mason. Mason wants another look at the car, so they return, but some dogs frighten them away, and barbed wire catches threads from their clothes. This wouldn't be so bad, except lobbyist Meredith Borden is killed about this time, and the police are looking for anyone near the scene. Next Perry calls Beatrice Cornell, the name the accident victim gave, and discovers she was lying. The real Beatrice thinks the girl might be one of her models who have been to Borden's before, as the dead lobbyist was also an amateur photographer with a taste for cheesecake.
