Time’s up for Bazza Mackenzie. His stranglehold on Portsmouth’s cocaine market has earned him millions of dollars he’s invested in legitimate businesses. The police have mounted an operation code-named Tumbril to take down the city’s biggest criminal. But when the detective in charge is nearly killed in a mysterious hit-and-run, it falls to Joe Faraday to put Mackenzie away.
