Description
This autumn, the UK magazine Puffin Post asked if I could write them a 900-word Kat short story. The result, "A Desperate Case for Magick", was published in Puffin Post's November issue. Hooray! But unfortunately, Puffin Post is only sold in the UK, so that meant that none of Kat's US readers could read the story.So...here is my holiday gift to everyone who's been so amazingly supportive of Kat and of me this year, in America, the UK, and everywhere else! "A Desperate Case for Magick" takes place a few days after the ending of Kat, Incorrigible/A Most Improper Magick, so yes, it does include spoilers. If you haven't read the book and you don't want any plot spoilers, please do turn your eyes away. But if you have read the book - or you don't mind spoilers - I really hope you enjoy it. It's very silly and light, but it was awfully fun to write, and I love getting to share it with you now.
