The Wives of Azhar

This was a Bluebeard inspired short story that I wrote back in 2015. I never quite understood why Bluebeard killed all of his wives. The question fascinated me, and this is the result of wondering. "The Wives of Azhar" was published in Strange Horizons magazine. I hope you enjoy!
